Peace Acres is located 40 minutes north
of Toronto, however when you arrive you can't believe that anything so beautiful and peaceful could be that close to the largest city in Ontario. Rolling Hills and lush green pastures with content grazing mares, are seen all around you. Their magnificent stone century home sits in front of their large horse barn and indoor arena. That is where you will find Barb most of the time. Personally overseeing the care and managing of all the horses at Peace Acres. Barb & Jim have certainly had a strong impact on the success of the Quarter Horse Industry in Ontario.

Dedicated to breeding and raising All-Around horses that are quiet, kind and dependable. Horses that you can take in the Halter class then show up for the hunt seat classes, followed by the western performance classes. And when you leave the show and return home you can still take your horse down the trails and enjoy them every day.

It is important to Barb that her horses are raised to be hardy, healthy and strong individuals. To be allowed to be a horse and run outside free as youngsters . It allows them to accept things that stall raised horses never encounter. They build muscle and can grow properly because of the unlimited exercise they are allowed 24 hours a day. They are brave and worldly by the time they start their training. You won't find babies in stalls at Peace Acres there outside being Horses.
